I have made a decision

It is amazing what you discover when you travel;
the very moment you leave you start to find yourself.

I love going to new places.  Setting my feet on foreign soil where I am instantly forced to take in everything around me.  Earlier this year when I returned home from Costa Rica I was instantly ready to leave again.  I traveled to Haiti two months later, and am preparing to head out to Costa Rica once more, hopping over the border to Panama to taste and smell and see the culture that they have to offer.  I  was eager to taste every experience I could get my hands on.

"Most likely we are each setting positive intentions for our lives all of the time. It comes from our innate desire to grow as human beings. But it’s simply not possible to do it all. This is why many of us end up overwhelmed and feeling like failures when we don’t achieve them."

 Camille is right though, we can't do it all.  I can't have every single good experience everyone else has.  I can only have mine.  I can't recreate everyone else's lives, tying together all my favorite parts.  I can't have the best job and pay off all of my bills, and always go shopping and get everything I want, and then have time off to travel all over.  I can't have it all.  But what I can do is be smart and sensible with what I have.  I don't have cable, a smart phone, or a car that was manufactured in the last two decades.  What I do have is the will to be working hard and saving money, using it for the most value.  And so I am choosing to travel, because in doing so I am getting as close as I can to having exactly what I need.
